Bray and Glenealy in final showdown on Sunday

The holders Bray Emmetts put their title on the line against Glenealy on Sunday in the Dacia Cars Senior Final. Bray are going for their fourth title on the trot and the men from Glenealy will be determined to stop them from equalling their feat of same from 2008 to 2013. Indeed it was the Bray men who sopped Glenealy getting five in a rown with a narrow 2-09 to 1-11 win in 2014.

It was sweet revenge for Bray who had suffered a 0-17 to 0-14 loss in 2013 to the men from Glenealy. Not only will Bray be going for four in a row but star forward Christy Moorehouse has been named Man of the Match in all those victories.

Glenealy have plenty of experience and with some talented youngsters coming through they will be a tough assignment for the champions but Bray have timed their progress well in 2017 and will be in no mood to be beaten . A Titanic struggle is expected in Joule Park at 3.30 p.m.

This will be preceded by the under 17 final between Michael Dwyers and Bray Emmetts at 1-10 p.m.
