The Wicklow under 21 hurlers have secured their place in the All-Ireland final against Kerry after a nervy finish today in Pearses Park, Arklow. A 0-15 to 0-13 win over a very good Kildare team offers this particular bunch the opportunity to emulate the men 0f 2015 who famously won the title in a cliffhanger with Meath also played on ‘The Field Of Legends’ in Tipperary.
All Wicklow supporters should dust off the flags, root out the scarves, make new headbands, wear their jerseys with pride and whatever else they can find with blue and gold bring it along and it could be the difference on the day. Seamus Murphy and Michael Neary have brought hurling in Wicklow on leaps and bounds in 2017 and knowing these two they will leave no stone unturned to achieve success.
Lets be having you!!
