Leinster Gaa chiefs have decided to postpone this weekends O’Byrne Cup game between Wicklow and Louth scheduled for Baltinglass. Connacht officials decided earlier in the day to call of the there fixtures this weekend due to the adverse weather conditions.
The cold snap has made playing and travelling conditions impossible and with the bad weather forecast to continue the games have been rescheduled for next weekend.
Wicklow chairman Andy O’Brien confirmed that the match was postponed and that no venue has been confirmed for the rescheduled game that was due to take place in Baltinglass this weekend.
